Aurali ossia dell’aura. Un aura diversa de aquella que habla Walter Benjamín en La obra de arte en la época de su reproducibilidad técnica. Un aura entendida en el sentido más amplio: el aura como característica indescriptible de los fenómenos.
Aurali  como adjetivo, se refiere efectivamente a sensaciones, vibraciones, luces y frecuencias sonoras, a todo lo que escuchado con un sexto sentido nos sugiere otras dimensiones posibles, otros modos de percibir la realidad.

Traducir estas percepciones en sonidos es instintivo y espontáneo; hacer música significa fundirse con el universo y no crear espacios académicos y artificiales, laboratorios de seccionamiento, gabinetes de la fragmentación donde el arte comparte su accionar  con las ciencias newtonianas.
El arte nunca será  una ciencia (como la ciencia nunca será un arte). Puede ser conocimiento, y el arte sonoro llega efectivamente a serlo si cultiva un saber sensible, o sea aquella zona que la vuelve necesaria para el hombre.
El arte no puede ser ciencia porqué no puede (no quiere, no debe…) encontrar respuestas; pero quizás pueda sugerir preguntas, servir de espejo para la especulación humana, despertar sensibilidades, ayudar a percibir el mundo en todas sus dimensiones.
El sonido en el espacio es la mejor metáfora de la dimensión aural. Las reverberaciones, los sonidos que se alejan y se avecinan, las grabaciones de ambientes diferentes nos transportan a través de varias dimensiones.
Cada una de estas dimensiones tiene colores y combinaciones energéticas diversas que se nos revelan con su propia “aura”.

Aurali es un viaje aleatorio alrededor de la tierra, una descripción de lo que se encuentra en sitios desconocidos pero familiares, en un tiempo que probablemente sea el presente pero que también incluye una proyección hacia varios posibles tiempos infinitos.

En Aurali  el viaje se inicia con frecuencias similares a las de las campanas tibetanas, pero luego se dirige hacia otras dimensiones diferentes  similarmente revelatorias.
Se mezclan aquí sonidos reales e irreales: pasos humanos con maquinas surreales, masas irregulares de ciudades inexistentes y fuera del tiempo; un éter imaginario donde partículas microscópicas viajan velocísimas, señales desconocidos y truenos lejanos; luego, algún rastro humano.

Aurali is for of-the-aura.
A different aura by the one mentioned in Walter Benjamin’s  The Work of Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction. An aura considered in a wider sense: aura as an undescribable characteristic of the fenomenon.
Aurali as an adjective, indeed refers to sensations, vibrations, lights and sound frequencies. It refers to all the things that, if listened at, using the sixth sense, suggest us other possible dimentions, other ways of perceiving reality.

To translate these perceptions in sound is an instinctive and spontaneus activity.
Making music is an act of fusion with the universe wich has nothing to do with academic and artificial sites,
laboratory autopsies, fragmentation cabinets where the arts share their activities with newtonian sciences.
Art will never be a science (as science will never be an art). Art can be knowledge, and sound-art can really become that by  cultivating a sensible cognition, an area wich makes art a necessary mean to mankind.
Art can’t be a science because it can’t  find an answer (it does not attempt, it must not…). Maybe it can formulate questions, be a mirror for human speculation, wake up sensibilities, help to perceive the world in all it’s dimentions.

Sound in space is the best metaphore for the aural dimention. Reverberations, sound approaching or moving away, different soundscape recordings take us through various dimentions. Each one of these dimentions have different colors and energy combinations wich reveal themselves with their own aura.

Aurali is an aleatoric trip around the world, a description of what can be found in places wich are unknown but familiar to us, in a time wich is probably the present but also contains  a projection to other possible infinite times.

In Aurali  real and artificial sounds melt together: bell-like frequencies, gravel-walk with surreal machines, row masses of non-existent, timeless cities , and imaginary ether where microscopic corpuscles move at high speed, unknown signals and thunders in the distance; then some human traces.
